GREY DAY AT THE STOCK EXCHANGE, 13" x 20.5", mixed media, 2008

This has been the hardest for me to tackle of all the weeks entries into Karin Jurick's different strokes from different folks. Thank God she gave us 2 weeks.

Check out the site to see the many interpretations they are great!

I have done this piece on a very heavy watercolour paper using acrylic, gouache, wax crayons, coloured pencil, and Biro.

Hi Adebanji,
I was happy to see your response to this challenge. So many were just kind of a boring attempt to copy all or part of the photograph.
Not only did you capture the confusion and stress of the scene, it stands alone as a descent piece of art, without having to know the source.
Warm Regards, Carol
